Summary of Talk:
Grid computing represents a convergence of recent advances in
computing and networking.
This talk provides a general overview of grid computing,
followed by a description of how grid computing will be used
by LHC experiements such as ATLAS, and then a report on
recent grid computing activities at the University of Michigan.
